In the 8 years I have been with LA Christian Health Centers, I have seen many people experience healing and hope here, despite enduring the trauma and trials of homelessness, chronic illness, and just being forgotten and ignored by others. Staff have also made great sacrifices to stay and serve, entering into the pain of the people we serve. Our patients are neighbors who are loved by God and they matter. We want to grow in our ability to give whole- person care, helping each patient take the steps they need toward health and well-being-- but we have no space to grow!
Join me in supporting real change. Help us open a new beautiful state-of-the art health center to serve our most vulnerable neighbors in Skid Row- allowing us to provide much better access to medical care, dental care, social work, mental health and substance abuse services, optometry, pharmacy and medications, and care coordination. Thank you!
